Ep. 26 - Save the Hunt - Responsible Wildlife Management
From the Mile High Hunt and Fish Expo, we welcome two guests to the show for this Save the Hunt update. Chris Jurney with the Colorado Conservation Alliance shares how his organization is working towards a more responsible wolf reintroduction program that will be better for both managers, citizens and the wolves. Later we get an introduction to Colorado Parks & Wildlife District Wildlife Manager Scott Murdoch. CPW manages 961 species of wildlife, just 78 of which are game species. Mr. Murdoch introduces himself, the responsibilities of CPW and the role they play in wildlife biology, management and education.
